She uses nature and vibrant colors to create emotion within her pieces. Creole culture and heavy musical influences allow her to create jazz like style within her art.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in Oakland
California. Providing her with influences from both the East and West Coast.
Her Mother who taught her art history inspired her love of artwork. At a young age she curated an elaborate art collection. Her favorite artist includes Frida Kahlo, Paul
Gauguin, Romare Bearden, and Leroy Campbell. She has also shared her love of art by teaching art to children.
Her greatest joy is centered in her artistic creations. Lauren is a feminist artist whose goal is to empower women
and those who love powerful women.
